Sometimes Life Hands You Lemons…

That is how I felt over the past few weeks. The problem was that each time I tried to make lemonade it just came out as lemon juice. Then after some sagely advice I let G_d make the lemonade and oooh is it sweet. I wrote back a little while ago about some stumbling blocks in the formation of Eagle’s Wings. It went from mildly disturbing to pure bewilderment, but has ended in the family I originally asked to join Birdie and I to step down. I can not go into details publicly but please pray for them. They are in great need of it. To be honest it left me wondering about the calling because this family’s involvement was one of the things I was SURE about. Yet Yeshua is good in all things. You see I had asked two families to join us. Yeshua placed them on my heart for this as well, but I wrestled with it for some time as I was SURE that with all they had been through lately they would decline. I am sure you can see where this is going. I got and e-mail from them two days ago indicating they would love to join us. It is amazing the things that can change your day or your life.
So here I stand at the dawn of a new frontier. Eagle’s Wings Family Ministries will soon be a legal entity. Birdie, Heidi, her husband the ubiquitous MR, and I will be the founding directors of a ministry dedicated to helping families struggling in the valley to fly on wings of eagles.
